I am sure you know people who go off to some place on a vacation tour with a list of to-dos. And strictly adhere to that. Day 1: Temple ABC; XYZ Market; BFG Beach; Buy souvenirs; You know, the sort.
And then there are people who just take in the feel of where they are, live in the moment and head out where they feel like. Even if they do have a list, it’s not an itinerary.
At the end of the trip, even if the first person has more tourist-spots ticked off the list, it’s the second one who has some magical moments to cherish forever.
Probably the same goes for life. So many of us are so sure about the entire course of their lives that it’s almost dull.
“I want to be a XYZ at a reputable firm in the next 5 years after which I want to start ABC because I blah blah blah…”
That’s boring! No, I haven’t got it all figured out yet. And that’s good! I have not even tried!
And for a reason. I want to live for the love of living and exploring what all I can do with this one wonderful life. Not for creating a logbook out of it filled with crossed To-Do entries.

Sometimes (okay, most of the times) a GD does not have either a Group or a Discussion.
For those times, and people:

“Falling hard with a thud..tasting own blood in the mouth…limbs ache…bones hurt, but the heart eggs on.
She lifts her head slowly, looks ahead. And then she starts standing up again.
For this is what she’s good at, this is what she does best – fighting the odds. And Winning.”

Delhi is such a relief to eyes after a mild shower. Especially the Qutub Institutional area.
Sitting here in the IIFT campus, with some amazing ppl around who are a delight to talk to, its something I will probably miss back in Kolkata. For now, the “process” finally decided to cut me some slack and give me the day off earlier than others. So, here I am, reflecting on the mundane
I really hope though that the others with me get to have a reeeeally long day. And a fruitful one.
Split between the idea of utilizing this time for the end-terms starting tuesday and going out to Saket and have some fun. So, what prevails? The good ol’ Lethargy
Waiting for the “process” to get over with some good news. And then some nice coffee
Mood: So not Kolkata. Or studies.
